Job seeker registration is an 8-step process: (1) Personal details and Aadhaar upload, (2) Payment of the registration fee via UPI, (3) Education details (High School, Intermediate, Diploma, etc.), (4) Work experience, (5) Job category preferences and expected salary, (6) Skills and languages, (7) Document uploads (resume, photo, signature, certificates), and (8) Final review and submission. You will receive OTP verification for both your phone and email during registration.
Why is there a registration fee for job seekers?
The one-time registration fee allows SDT Academy to maintain a database of verified, serious candidates, which improves the quality of our talent pool for employers. This fee covers profile verification, document management, and access to all job opportunities on the platform. Payment is made via UPI and must be accompanied by the UTR number and payment receipt.
What documents do I need to complete my job seeker registration?
You will need: (1) Aadhaar card (for identity verification), (2) Academic certificates – High School, Intermediate, and any higher education documents, (3) A professional resume (PDF), (4) A recent passport-size photo, (5) Your signature, (6) Experience certificates if you have prior work experience. All documents are securely uploaded to the platform.
How do I verify my phone number during registration?
During the personal details step of registration, you will be prompted to enter your mobile number. An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to that number via SMS. Enter the OTP on the platform to complete phone verification. Similarly, your email address is verified through an email OTP before completing the registration.
Can freshers apply for jobs on SDT Academy?
Absolutely. SDT Academy supports both fresher and experienced candidates. Jobs on the platform indicate the minimum and maximum years of experience required. Jobs with 0 years of experience are specifically open to freshers. You can filter job listings by experience level to find the most relevant opportunities.
How do I apply for a job?
Once your registration is complete and your profile is active, browse jobs from the Jobs page. Use filters such as category, location, job type, work mode, and salary range to narrow down listings. Click on any job to view its full details, then click 'Apply Now'. Your saved profile details (resume, skills, experience) are submitted automatically with your application.
Can I apply for multiple jobs at the same time?
Yes. There is no limit on the number of jobs you can apply for. Your application dashboard lets you track all submitted applications and their current status (Pending, Shortlisted, Interview Scheduled, Rejected, Hired) in real time.
How do I update my profile after registration is complete?
After completing registration, log in to your Job Seeker Dashboard and navigate to 'My Profile'. You can update your personal details, work experience, skills, languages, expected salary, notice period, and re-upload documents from the respective profile tabs at any time.
What job types and work modes are available on SDT Academy?
SDT Academy lists jobs across multiple types including Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship, Freelance, and Remote positions. Work modes available are On-site, Remote, and Hybrid. You can filter by these options on the Jobs page to find opportunities that match your preferences.
